Villa Azure Mykonos

“A special atmosphere”

This residence in Mykonos, overlooking the beach of super paradise, was designed and built aiming to fashion a modern structure with emphasis given to the feeling of luxury. In addition, the original natural stone formations, protecting the house from northern winds, were kept in place. The residence faces south, overlooking the sea, having the ideal position in relation to the sun throughout all seasons.

Various goals were set for designing a place that could truly accommodate the owner’s lifestyle, since following the typical Mykonos architecture would not permit for the desired mood and ambience the owner wished to create.

Large openings in all areas allowed for spectacular open views. The ground floor features a living area with modern kitchen, combining the preparation of food with fun thanks to the large elongated bar counter, offering a functional and charming space for both cooking and socialising.

The first floor includes all bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom, and terrace overlooking the sea and adjacent gorge. The colour scheme chosen includes grey and beige tones matching the Mykonian stone landscape. Moreover, Lighting fixtures and furniture, brought in from all over the world, but mainly from South Africa, feature a combination of natural wood and crystal.
