Our latest study concerns the complete renovation of a building dating from the 1980s. The existing building under renovation is located in the area of Glyfada, Athens, and consists of a basement level, pilotis (open ground floor with a dedicated closed area as a lounge and a pool area), five (5) storeys, and a roof garden. The proposed renovation aims at the complete functional and aesthetic upgrade of the building, with the objective of improving safety, energy performance, and overall quality of use.
The scope of the project includes the comprehensive upgrade of the structural elements, as well as the replacement and modernization of the plumbing, electrical, and energy systems, in accordance with current technical standards and regulations. Special emphasis is placed on the energy retrofit of the building envelope and MEP installations, targeting a reduction in the building’s energy footprint and the promotion of sustainable operation.
