H14 is an apartment building featuring basements, lofts and a superb green roof. This structure, currently under construction, is located in the area of Glyfada (on 4 Artemisiou Street) in Athens, Greece. The site is located only a few meters away from the sea, and the tram line connecting Glyfada to the Athens centre. The architectural concept aims to trail both present and future developments in the area. In this way, a modern architectural design was implemented, targeting to match current and future architectural styles in the Helliniko area. Furthermore, the building is situated 150m away from the Helliniko old airport, which will be converted into a metropolitan park, designed by famous architectural firms worldwide. Thus, our design also follows the same language. Our proposal suggests a seemingly lightweight construction with wing-shaped thin slabs, where the geometrically diverse curves employ a minimal approach, creating a more contemporary and dynamic form, resembling a sculpture.
