We initially proposed a completely new interior layout. Moreover, as regards building façades, apart from replacing the old door and window frames with new aluminium painted ones, we also suggested repairing the exterior walls, and replacing the existing metal-structure roof with a constructed, reinforced-concrete slab roof, while treating the façades with thermal insulation. On the outdoor terrace, the existing metal balustrade was replaced with glass parapets.

Three new timber-structure pergolas were introduced to create shade for the built-in furniture seating, and Jacuzzi areas. As for the kitchen area, a built-in outdoor counter was added in order to extend the use of the area, especially in the summer. The main focal point was the Jacuzzi area on the terrace, where materials such as plaster, cement and wood were used.

As regards the interior design, the Cycladic architectural design was conveyed through simple lines, where walls were treated with rough white stucco; floors with a light grey cement. Another key material was wood, either in natural colour tones, or painted white. Most furniture was built-in, and covered in white stucco — a commonplace technique in Cycladic buildings.
