AD Apartment

This architectural study is about a complete renovation of a 180 sq.m apartment in the Lykovrisi area in Athens, Greece. Our main goal is to create a modern living space, for a family of three, providing an efficient energy upgrade, new mechanical installations and new aluminum frames.

Special attention is given to keeping all interiors as minimal as possible, following a contemporary style defined by simplicity, subtle sophistication, use of texture, and clean lines.

Some demolition work on walls around the kitchen area, and the two bedrooms in the back was necessary. Initially, there were four bedrooms in total, and our plan is to keep the two junior bedrooms, converting the other two into one master bedroom including a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom. The kitchen, featuring three work benches and an island, connects to an open-plan living/dining-room area.
